Garden Clean Up

There is a new date for the garden clean-up due to the soggy weekend
forecast.  Please mark your calendars and help spread the word.

Help spruce up the School Butterfly Gardens!

10am-1pm
Even coming for 30 minutes can be helpful.  You could also help clean up
at 1pm.

Many hands make light work! Bring your kids!
We will be weeding, trimming and mulching.  The city is providing a
large pile of mulch for us.  Some hedges need trimming.

Labor Day Book Sale Info

It’s time for the annual GES PTA Labor Day Book Sale!
Donations are accepted starting August 1 at Co-Op Supermarket and Greenbriar Condos.  Please consider dropping them off at the school Monday to Thursday from 9am – 2pm.

Books too heavy to carry?  Call or Text  240-821-5878 for pickups in 20770 zip code only.

Want to volunteer to help out with this massive undertaking?

For Book Donors:

Please bring the books to the Greenbelt Co-op Supermarket in Roosevelt Center from August 1 to 31. We can pick up large donations in the 20770 area. Do not bring the books to the school without calling the number above first, as a PTA member must meet you there. Do not ask the school staff for help; their job is getting the school ready for classes. Donations of books are tax-deductible; please ask for a receipt if you believe your donation is worth more than $250.

We are happy to receive fiction and nonfiction, children’s books, games, puzzles, DVDs, CDs, books on tape, and vinyl.

Welcome

Welcome from the Greenbelt Elementary Parent Teacher Association (GES-PTA)!  We hope you will join us at a meeting (first Tuesday of most months during the school year)
